The Auto Expo 2016 is on full throttle, with unveils, launches and showcases. The exhibitors have put up a grand show to keep the visitors engaged from the very first pavilion. Indian Motorcycles is one of them which kept the grandeur at the very top level. Their booth was a part of Polaris’s two-sided pavilion, and was decorated with the entire Indian Motorcycles product range placed interestingly. Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director of Polaris India Pvt. Ltd, took things to another level by unveiling the 2016 Indian Roadmaster and the Indian Chief Classic in their new avatar.
The new 2016 Roadmaster has received cosmetic and luxury upgrades making its imposing presence more magnificent, while the Chief Classic has got a new colour. At the show, the new Roadmaster stood in a Blue Diamond colour while the Classic posed in Pearl White. Powering the Roadmaster and the Chief Classic is a 1811 cc Thunder Stroke 111 engine with Closed loop fuel injection. The engine makes 138.9 Nm of torque at 2600 rpm. While the engine and output figures are similar, the instrumentation on both the luxury cruisers are different. The Roadmaster boasts a lot more than the Classic.
The Indian Motorcycles pavilion had their complete product line up showcased. Joining the new Roadmaster and the Classic was the equally impressive – Indian Chief Vintage in its Willow Green and Ivory Cream colour scheme. The Indian Chieftain in Indian Red garnered a lot of attention too. While these grand bikes stood at the front to open the show, the performance was held up high with the midsize Indian Scout and Indian Chief Dark Horse parked in a way to flaunt their capabilities.
