Aprilia Storm

Auto Expo 2018: Aprilia Showcases The Storm 125; Details, Features, Walkaround Video Inside

Even though it was the RS 150 and the Tuono 150 that stole the show at the Aprilia stand, the Italian marque also launched this – the Aprilia Storm 125. The Storm was designed with the youth in mind.

The scooter features a new matt red colour scheme with spunky black graphics all around. The front sees a black shroud for the integrated headlamp. The most apparent change, however, comes in the form of the front tyres. These are smaller 12-inch alloys that are shod with wide high profile terrain tyres. This gives the scooter a rugged stance.

The rear loses the handrails, further complementing the youthful stance of the scooter. Aprilia has confirmed that it will only be available in vibrant shades and would be offered with a dedicated line of accessories for those who want their rides to stand out.

Aprilia has, however, chosen to not tinker with the engine of the standard Aprilia SR125 (and we are not complaining). The Storm will retain the 125cc, single cylinder motor which is good for 9.5 HP of peak power.

Check out our walkaround video for more details:

The company has not set a date for the launch but we expect it to be launched by the end of the year. Expect the prices to hover around the same mark as the standard Aprilia SR125.
