Following a series of exterior previews, Tata Motors has officially teased the interior of the upcoming Aeris sedan. Scheduled for its market debut on September 25, the latest teaser images offer a detailed look at the vehicle’s dashboard architecture, seating arrangement, and onboard equipment.
The cabin features a premium light beige and grey dual-tone color scheme. Structurally, the dashboard layout shares its DNA with the Tiago, highlighted by a floating touchscreen infotainment system positioned above the central AC vents. A textured fabric-style trim spans the width of the dashboard, while the lower stack retains physical controls for key vehicular functions.
Tata Aeris Interior Features
Several details can be seen in the teaser:
- Digital instrument cluster with a new two spoke steering wheel
- Floating touchscreen infotainment system
- Wireless charging tray
- Automatic climate control
- Cruise control
- Type C USB ports
- Rear AC vents
- Front centre armrest with storage
- Electrically adjustable and folding ORVMs

The automatic version gets a rotary drive selector on the centre console. Paddle shifters are also visible behind the steering wheel. This suggests that the showcased car is equipped with the AMT gearbox. The centre console also gets cup holders and space for storing a phone.
360 Degree Camera With Dashcam
One of the standout additions shown in the teaser is a 360-degree camera system. The central screen displays comprehensive views from the front, rear, and sides of the vehicle to assist with parking.
Furthermore, this camera setup doubles as a factory-fitted dashcam, allowing the exterior lenses to record driving footage—a technology Tata has successfully deployed across its higher-end product portfolio.
The central display is expected to be a 10.25-inch unit featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. High-spec variants will also likely benefit from a premium Harman acoustic sound system.
Engine And CNG Option
The Aeris is expected to use a 1.2 litre petrol engine producing around 84bhp and 113Nm. A CNG version is also expected, with around 72bhp and 96.5Nm.
Both powertrains could get manual and AMT gearbox options. The sedan will also offer a larger boot than the Tiago, although the CNG version could have different luggage space depending on its tank layout.
Tata Motors is expected to announce the final variant lineup, official feature list, and variant-wise pricing during the launch event on September 25.
