Luxury cars and fashion rarely meet, but when they do, the result is something very different. MG has now brought that idea to India by introducing special Couture Editions of the Cyberster electric roadster and the M9 luxury MPV. Created with renowned fashion designer Gaurav Gupta, these limited edition models add a unique design touch to two of MG’s flagship electric vehicles.
Only 50 units of each model will be produced, making them some of the rarest MG cars to go on sale in the country. Buyers can now place pre-reservations through MG Select, with prices scheduled to be announced on August 3.

Designed with Gaurav Gupta
These special editions have been created in collaboration with fashion designer Gaurav Gupta. The cars were unveiled during the launch of his latest Light Song collection at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Both models get exclusive styling inspired by Gupta’s signature Serpent Infinity design theme. Some of the design highlights include:
- Handcrafted detailing
- Special embroidery
- Layered textures
- Bespoke interior finishes
- Exclusive design elements not seen on the standard models
The Cyberster was also displayed as part of the fashion presentation, bringing together automotive design and couture on the same stage.

The special editions are all about design and exclusivity. The battery, motor and performance figures stay the same as the regular versions.
