A young bike racer, Shreyas Hareesh, aged 13, has tragically died in a racing accident at the Madras International Circuit. The accident happened during a race in the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC), causing the rest of the event to be canceled.

Shreyas Hareesh was becoming well-known in the Indian bike racing world. He had recently won a championship in India and represented the country in a world championship. He was also planning to race in another championship later this year.
The crash took place at the start of a race where Shreyas was in the lead. He fell off his bike and suffered a serious head injury. He was quickly taken to a hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
The president of the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC) said it was very sad to lose such a young and talented racer. He mentioned that Shreyas was given medical help right away, but the situation was too severe to save him. The MMSC decided to cancel the rest of the event to honor his memory.
Shreyas Hareesh had started racing when he was only 11 years old, which made him the youngest Indian racer in the INMRC. He had also won a big race last year, showing that he was one of the best young racers in India.
Recently, Shreyas had been racing in a championship class for rookies. He had won four races in a row, proving that he had a lot of skill and potential.
This sad incident reminds us of the risks in racing and the importance of safety. Shreyas Hareesh’s short but impressive racing career will be remembered, and his story will encourage other young racers to follow their dreams while staying safe.
