After launching the Kiwani electric superbike in India for Rs 18 lakh,Terra Motors, the No.1 manufacturer of electric two and three wheelers in Japan showcased world’s first executive e-scooter – A 4000i with a smart phone connection and a highly durable electric three-wheeler, T4 e-rickshaw at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014. There are several concept models of electric motorcycles with smart phones released by other motorcycle manufacturers in EU. However, Terra Motors releases the world-first mass production model of its kind. The Smartphone connection enabled A 4000i is capable of storing following data in the cloud database.
1. Electricity consumption while driving.
2. Remaining Battery.
3. Various data while driving. (Current model is compatible only with iPhone series)
By using smartphone connection and data collected from each electric scooter, Terra Motors intends to deliver new services with big data in medium to long-term. Apart from location information, the A4000i also includes collecting; analyzing the location or information of users and even new services such as personalized advertisements.
