The blokes at Renault India Pvt. Ltd. have a reason to rejoice as their company has registered a growth of 211% with monthly domestic sales of 12,426 units in April 2016. The company had registered domestic sales of 4,001 units in the corresponding month last year. Renault India has set up a manufacturing facility in Oragadam, Chennai. The facility rolls out 480,000 vehicles per year. It has over 208 sales and service facilities across the country.

Speaking on the company’s sales performance, Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said that the company is grateful to their customers for the confidence and trust bestowed in the Renault brand which is reflected in the ever-increasing surge in the monthly sales. Their compact hatchback, Kwid, has received an overwhelming response in the Indian market, not only from the metros but also from smaller cities and towns. He further added that Renault is confident of maintaining the sales momentum, as their team strategically work towards expanding their sales and service network in India.

Renault India currently offers seven models in the Indian market and they are – Fluence sedan, Koleos SUV, Pulse hatchback, Duster SUV, Scala sedan, Lodgy MPV and their compact hatchback, Renault Kwid.
