The diesel variant of the Honda Amaze, which is powered by the 1.5 litres iDTEC diesel engine, has been making a lot of news for its high power output of 100PS and a great ARAI certified fuel consumption figure of 25.8 kmpl. Now, Honda Cars India has come up with the first Indian TVC for the Brio based sedan. The TVC highlights the power and fuel consumption figures of the car’s diesel engine.

Such an engine, which brings in the best of both worlds together, should propel the Amaze diesel to top of the sales charts and the new car might very well become the highest selling sedan that the Indian car market has ever witnessed.
The iDTEC diesel engine has a max power output of 100PS and a peak torque figure of 200 Nm. The engine will come mated to a five speed manual transmission.
The Honda Amaze will be launched in India on April 11 this year and is expected to come with a very attractive price tag.
