Rolls-Royce-Wraith-Launch

Rolls Royce is all set to unveil its new baby, the Rolls Royce Wraith, at the fast approaching Geneva Motor Show that will be held next week.

The Rolls Royce Wraith is slated to become the luxury car marque’s sportiest and most powerful production car ever and it is being said that the Wraith will have at least 600 horses under its hood.

We have been closely following the developments related to the upcoming Roller and have been updating our website with every Wraith teaser image that the car manufacturer has published so far.

Now, the BMW owned British premium car maker has released one final teaser image of the Rolls Royce Wraith two door luxury coupe.  The latest teaser confirms that the new car will feature a Sportback design. This means that the Rolls Royce Wraith will soon become the first sportback in the history of Rolls Royce.

So far, we have come to know that the Rolls Royce Wraith is based on the Ghost, which in-turn is based on the BMW 7 Series. The Wraith will sport suicide doors and a gigantic 6.6-liter, twin-turbo, V12 engine with at least 600bhp of power. The Wraith will have a lightened and stiffened chassis that will be compatible with the car’s sporty credentials. The Wraith will have a curb weight of 2,300 kg and will be able to hit 100kmph from standstill in just 4.7 seconds. The car will have an electronically restricted top speed of 250kmph.

The Rolls Royce Wraith will be launched in India in July this year and the car maker will hold a private screening for a select group of well heeled Indian car aficionados before the Wraith is officially launched here.
