The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, which is the latest generation of the popular Korean crossover, has been testing on Indian roads since over a year now and the car has been spotted testing in India on several occasions. Seen here is yet another set of spy pics of the 2013 Sante Fe testing on our roads.

We feel that we would greet the new Santa Fe to make its Indian debut at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February and it very likely that the new Hyundai Santa Fe would become the first new-car launch by Hyundai Motor India Ltd in 2014.

Internationally, the 2013 Santa Fe is being sold with two petrol engine options. These include a 2 Litre turbo and a 2.4 Litre naturally aspirated motors. The car is also available in some markets with a 2.2 litre oil burner and it would be safe to guess that this is the very engine option that will make it to us. All the three motors mentioned here come attached to a 6 speed auto ‘box for Sante Fe.

The 2013 Santa Fe boasts of the car maker’s Storm Edge design language. The Storm Edge design language is the successor of the much loved Fluidic design language. We have always felt that the exterior styling on the new crop of Hyundai cars is a far cry from that of the older Hyundai cars, which have looked insipid to many.  On the inside, the car boasts of a very stylish dashboard design and rich materials can be found in plenty. The interiors come loaded with gizmos and seem to be quite cosseting.

It is very much for sure that the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe would come to us via CKD route.

Stay tuned to Motoroids for more dope on the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe India launch and other details.
