Volkswagen Virtus Gets a New Trim: Virtus GT DSG

Volkswagen Virtus has just introduced a new trim level in its GT line up, its called the Virtus GT DSG(new). Additionally Virtus GT DSG will slot in below the Virtus GT DSG Plus and above the Highline and Comfortline trim levels of the 1.0L Automatic.

The new GT DSG variant of the Virtus is available with the 1.5-litre four-cylinder EVO TSI petrol engine with the Active Cylinder cut-off Technology (ACT) found in the Taigun/Virtus GT, paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission. In this state of tune, the engine produces 148bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the engine returns an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 19.62kmpl.
