The Ford Endeavour has been in India for quite a few years now. The American car maker will be launching the 2015 Endeavour globally soon and the SUV will make it to our shores by the second half of next year. Now, a Chinese auto website has managed to grab the interiors of the 2015 Ford Endeavour which clearly indicates that the interior design will be different from that of the Ranger.

The 2015 Ford Endeavour will boast of a dashboard design that is different from that of the current model. Also, the new model will be equipped with more bells and whistles. Powering the 2015 Endeavour will be turbo petrol and turbo diesel motors. In the Indian market, Ford will be launching the new model with the same 2.5 liter and 3 liter TDCI oil burners with a few tweaks. The SUV will get 6 speed manual and automatic transmissions, with the additional cog expected to boost both performance and fuel efficiency.

The 2015 Endeavour will be sold in India as a 7 seater SUV. Upon its India launch, the new 2015 model will lock horns with the Toyota Fortuner, the Mistubishi Pajero Sport and the Hyundai Santa Fe. The 2015 Endeavour is likely to be equipped with a terrain sensing all wheel drive system, akin to the ones found on Land Rover models. The SUV will also get coil springs with torsion bar layout at the rear instead of the leaf spring suspension found on the outgoing model.

Ford India will sell the 2015 Endeavour in India via the CKD route, with the kits imported from Thailand. The assembly of the SUV will be done at Ford India’s Chennai facility.
