Toyota has dropped a new teaser of the next-generation Land Cruiser Prado. The automaker will launch the 5th generation of Prado which will share its underpinnings with the new Lexus GX SUV.
After the LC300 Land Cruiser, this will be the most awaited SUV from the automaker replacing the 4th generation of Prado.

Toyota has recently dropped a teaser of the 5th generation of Prado which will replace the 4th generation of 2009. In this teaser, the automaker has showcased the silhouette of the new-gen Land Cruiser Prado. The vehicle standing next to the teased Prado is the FJ40 Land Cruiser from the 60s decade.
The details in this teaser aren’t visible much, but it showcases the boxy and upright stance of the SUV. This represents that the new generation Prado will be bulkier and more muscular in design than the previous generation model. The silhouette of the new Prado resembles the recently unveiled 3rd generation of Lexus GX.

These models are currently on sale in the Asian and Middle East markets including India, UAE, etc. However, Toyota will remove the Prado suffix in its nomenclature and will be named Land Cruiser in North American markets.
