Honda has finally revealed the 2023 CR-V. Honda has received immense love in America for its CR-V, and now the carmaker is here with a redesigned, updated version of this SUV. the new generation CR-V will offer a Hybrid trim and is more significant than ever.

The six gen CR-V with a rugged honeycomb mesh grille and thinner headlights at the front puts the fifth-generation CR-V behind. The new CR-V is 69 mm longer and 10 mm wider than the last facelift, launched in 2016. Other exterior updates involve flanked by a pair of sleek LED headlights, flared wheel arches and clean lines with an upright silhouette. The tall tail lamps wrapped around the tailgate throws a muscular finish to its original rear design. The wheelbase increases by 10 mm, while wheel arches get black cladding. The 2023 CR-V has bigger space and size than the previous.

The clean and precise interior features a 7 inch instrumental cluster, while the floating infotainment screen offers standard 7 inch and 9 inch for higher variants. The front grille’s honeycomb effect can be seen imitating in the AC vents. The dashboard design is similar to that of the Honda Civic. The tech features of the new CR-V involve wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital driver’s display, Bose sound system, a 15w wireless phone charger, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, a sunroof, keyless entry with push button start and physical knob and buttons for AC control. CR-V also includes safety features such as up to 10 airbags, electronic stability control, hill descent control, and Honda’s Sensing ADAS suite.

Talking about the powertrain, the new generation CR-V comes with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 190 PS power and 242 NM of torque for lower variants and a 2.0-litre hybrid unit with 204 PS combined power and 335 Nm of torque, which will be available for the higher variants. Both engines will offer an AWD system. Even though CR-V has received massive sales in the international market, the comeback of this SUV in India is not yet sure.
