Steelbird ARES brand of helmets launched in India

Steelbird Helmets have added a new brand line in their portfolio by launching “ARES” brand of helmets, which the manufacturer says are for “Professional Riders”. These helmets come with a new ‘NASA technology.’

Speaking at the launch of Steelbird ARES brand of helmets, Mr. Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director, Steelbird Helmets, said that “the product has been named after the Greek God of war.” ARES signifies Steelbird’s “crusade for riders’ safety and protection and also promises to take the street biking experience to a new level of safety, substance as well as style,”.

ARES boasts of high-end material and technologies, including those used by NASA ‘Special Fabric’ for Astronauts. The Outlast technology, originally developed for NASA, utilizes phase change materials (PCM) that absorb, store and release heat for optimal thermal comfort.  The Visor Mechanism is designed in such a manner that while opening & closing of the visor the screws will never open and no metal part is provided in the visor mechanism so it will never gets rusted and will have a long life and single push user friendly button to open the helmet.

Mr.Shailendra Jain, Head- Sales & Marketing, Steelbird Helmets  also commented  that “ARES comes in a wide range of sporting and adventurous design, including the unique antique designer helmets in ‘Vintage Range’, like leather and denim stitched helmets inspired by the ancient Romans.

Priced Range between Rs 2,999-3,999. the helmet will be available in different models STROKE, SKULL, DENIM, DEVIL and so on.

  1. SOL MT LS 2 are imported brands,and in KOLKATTA even though the helmets are ECE or DOT approved,the riders Wearing SOL MT or LS 2 are being fined as it doesn`t have ISI,strange isn`t it,people buy better quality than ISI still they are fined

  2. It's all too gimmicky. What I would like to know is that does it pass stringent testing by ECE And DOT certification process.
    Because some of the helmets in India like SOL and MT helmets pass these tests.
    And they are available for similar prices.
