Porsche recalls 483 cars in India

Porsche recently announced the recall of 483 cars in India. The recall is being done to fix a fault in the headlights. Only last week, we had reported about the famous German manufactur’s move to recall as many as 20,000 units of its Cayenne SUV  in China to fix a design defect in the headlights. Today, the manufacturer confirmed that approximately 1,00,000 units of the SUV need to be recalled globally, out of which 483 units are from India. The manufacturer’s in-house quality investigations came up with the finding that in rare circumstances, an incorrectly locked head-light module in these Cayennes can get detached. The required repairs will need just 45 minutes and the company will fix the issue free of cost.
