To mark Opera’s 20th anniversary, and make more Indians mobile internet savvy, the web browser builder rolled out their Web on Wheels in India. Called the WOW car, and based on a Hindustan Ambassador, the specially equipped will provide free Wi-Fi to users across the country that is incidentally home to the largest number of Opera Mini users in the world

Over the next 10 months, the WOW Car will travel across India, covering 20 cities including Agra, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi and Allahabad. The car will be stationed at multiple locations throughout the city for 20 days each. While the WOW Car is in their city, mobile users just need to approach it and connect to the Opera Wi-Fi connection to be able to browse for free for 20 minutes each day. There is no limit to the amount of data that can be used during this time or the websites and apps that can be used with this free internet service.

So, if one comes across the WOW Car in any of the cities, Opera encourages them to get their parents, cousins or any other important people in their lives to start using mobile internet.
