DSK Motowheels, the official Hyosung people in India today launched the special edition GT250 R LE. The limited run bike is meant to commemorate the 1st anniversary of Hyosung’s official riding group HyRyders. While we reported live from the launch event today, with details and images of the bike, we now have the official release for the event and the product with us. So here’s the official word.

Pune, 13th December, 2013: Marking the 1st anniversary celebrations of their owners club HY Ryders, DSK Hyosung today launched their Signature Edition GT250 R LE in an eye catching hurricane yellow. This superbike was unveiled by Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels.

Packed with enhanced sporty graphics and styling in an attractive hurricane yellow on popular demand, each of these 50 superbikes will bear signatures of their owners. Adding to the attraction, exclusive branded merchandise will also come with each of these mean machines. This superbike is attractively priced at Rs. 2,97,000 (Ex-showroom Pune).

Sharing his thoughts at the unveiling of the superbike, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels said, ‘Driven by popular demand from our discerning customers, we decided to introduce this signature edition of the GT250 R. What better way to introduce this faired beast than the 1st anniversary of our exclusive superbike club the HyRyders. We are overwhelmed by the support shown by the owners club, and are committed to delivering maximum value and excitement for them in the years to come.’

The 250cc bike is a class apart in its segment with heavy duty fully faired muscular body and is the biggest bike in the 250cc segment. It is also fondly known as “The Big Boy” amongst the superbiking fraternity.

Powered by a V twin-cylinder and an oil-cooled 4-stroke engine, the GT250 R produces 27.6 Bhp of maximum power at 10000 rpm, and 22.07Nm of maximum torque at 8000 rpm. The bike has a top speed of 140 kmph. It has some interesting features like double disk Front Brakes, twin projector headlamps, upside down forks, EFI and the adjustable rear sets. It is the only 250cc bike in India with Super Sports riding position. With its looks and power, it has all the ingredients to thrill and is worth every penny.

This limited edition machine will be retailed on demand through select dealerships of DSK Hyosung in the country.
