We have been keeping an open eye over the 2012 Ducati 848 Streetfighter. The firm has released official details and high resolution images of the motorcycle. According to a press release from Ducati, ‘The Streetfighter 848 delivers pure motorcycle enjoyment with the combination of a brand new, brilliantly engineered 848 Testastretta 11° engine and the enhanced geometry of a frame that ensures agility with confidence-inspiring feel. With user-friendliness now enriched by a smooth and flexible power delivery, revised ergonomics and traction control, Ducati’s unique fighter style is set to create more excitement than ever.’
The motorcycle is powered by a L-twin engine that pumps 132 horses and 92 Nm of torque which seem to be decent figures when compared with the bigger Streetfighter. Apart from this, Ducati claims that the 848’s silky smooth power delivery in combination with a revised chassis and race derived eight level electronic traction control help the bike achieve unimaginable performance levels. The 848 weighs around 169 kilos dry making it a Streetfighter in the truest sense.
Ducati also has mentioned that the ergonomics of the bike has been tweaked in order to achieve better comfort. The seat has been redesigned along with the handlebars that are positioned 20mm higher and footpegs about 10mm wider. The motorcycle also features fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi forks and fully adjustable Sachs monoshock. The suspension has been tuned for the best high-speed handling.

Eh? Like who? It would be extremely gullible to assume that investors would shy away from a country simply because corruption exists at all levels of the Government.
