Norton Atlas GT ADV Spotted Testing Again in India

Norton Atlas GT ADV has been seen testing again on Indian roads. With every new sighting, more details are coming out. This motorcycle is part of the new plan after TVS Motor Company took over Norton Motorcycles. The bike is expected to be built in India and later sold in global markets as well.

The latest test images show a much clearer view compared to before. Now the front and side design can be seen properly, and the bike looks like a proper middleweight adventure tourer.

Design and road presence

From the front, the bike gets a strong look with a proper ADV style setup.

  • Twin projector headlamps
  • LED DRL signature
  • Semi fairing around the headlight
  • Tall windscreen for wind protection

There are also small extra lights which could help during night rides. The overall front section looks neat and well built.

From the side, the motorcycle looks big and well proportioned.

  • Large fuel tank
  • Muscular tank shrouds
  • Clean body panels
  • Upswept exhaust

The bike carries a strong road presence and feels like a proper touring machine.

Wheels and hardware setup

The Atlas GT ADV seen in testing runs on alloy wheels. This is different from earlier versions which had spoke wheels.

  • Alloy wheels for road use
  • Road focused tyres
  • 19 inch front and 17 inch rear setup on standard version
  • 17 inch wheels on GT version

Suspension and braking hardware also look premium.

  • USD front forks in gold finish
  • Rear monoshock setup
  • Twin front disc brakes
  • ByBre calipers
  • Single rear disc

A large radiator is also visible, pointing towards a liquid cooled engine.

Engine and performance details

The bike will use a 585cc parallel twin engine.

  • Twin cylinder setup
  • 270 degree crank
  • Expected around 70 bhp
  • 6 speed gearbox

A quickshifter is also expected, which will help in smooth gear changes. Final power numbers are not confirmed yet.

Features and electronics

The feature list is expected to be quite strong for this segment.

  • Large TFT display, around 8 inch
  • Smartphone connectivity
  • Riding modes
  • Traction control
  • Cruise control
  • Cornering ABS
  • Wheelie control
  • Heated grips

Variants and positioning

The Atlas range will have two versions.

  • Standard model with mixed wheel setup
  • GT version with road focused setup

For India, alloy wheels are expected to be standard, while spoke wheels could be offered as an option. The bike will be built at TVS facility in Hosur.

Launch and market plan

The motorcycle is still under testing, but launch is expected in 2026. It will compete with bikes like the Kawasaki Versys 650 in the segment.

This model is part of a bigger plan where more bikes like Atlas, Manx and Manx R will also arrive in the future.
