The all new, next-gen Skoda Superb is all set to make its global debut on February 17. Apparently, the Czech manufacturer will reveal their Vision C concept inspired flagship vehicle prior to its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Termed as the “best Skoda ever”, the new Superb promises to be lighter, yet bigger than the outgoing model.

The sides get a high set waist line, and a much narrower glasshouse than its predecessor, again, quite like the Vision C and also the new Octavia. The rear is a production-spec crack at the Vision C’s behind, with all-LED tail lamps. The rear seat space and legroom is expected to increase even further, as the wheelbase on the new car has been extended by 80mm. Although the rear will now sport a sleeker design, the boot will swallow 625 litres of cargo with the seats up and a humongous 1760 litres, with the seats down. The interior has been partially revealed recently, which is more of an upgrade from the smaller Octavia’s cabin. Overall, the new Superb, based on VW’s MQB modular platform promises to be more stylish and powerful than ever, with a range of cleaner, yet more gustier 4 cylinder diesel and petrol motors, along with a petrol V6.
