Toyota has shared the first official teaser of the new generation Hilux ahead of its India launch on July 28. The short video gives a closer look at the pickup’s new styling and also shows it driving through water, mud and rough tracks. The latest Hilux gets a stronger design, more features and a refreshed cabin. For India, Toyota is expected to continue with the trusted diesel engine that already powers the current model.

The new Hilux will officially arrive in India on July 28. A small price increase is expected because of the design changes and additional equipment. The current Hilux is priced between Rs 28.52 lakh and Rs 36 lakh (ex showroom).
It will continue to compete with the Isuzu V-Cross in the lifestyle pickup segment.
