Toyota has taken the wraps off the 2015 Yaris in the United States. Looking virtually identical to the European variant, the facelifted model hs received a new front fascia with a slender grille and a massive air intake. The car also has restyled headlights, a retuned suspension and an upgraded interior with a new dashboard and additional sound deadening material.
The 2015 Toyota Yaris will be sold in three trim levels. The entry-level Yaris L comes equipped with air conditioning, power windows / locks and an Entune infotainment system with a 6.1-inch display. Further, the mid-variant Yaris LE adds cruise control, keyless entry, silver / metallic interior trim and 15-inch alloy wheels. The top-of-the-line Yaris SE trim is equipped with projector beam headlights, LED daytime running lights and 16-inch alloy wheels. The model also has a sport-tuned suspension, beefier brakes and a rear spoiler. Other bits include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, gloss black trim and unique cloth upholstery.
Powering the 2015 Yaris is a 1.5-liter four pot motor that produces 106 bhp (79 kW)Â of max power and 103 lb-ft (139 Nm) of peak torque. The car can be ordered with a five-speed manual or an four-speed automatic transmission with low friction to maximize fuel efficiency.
The 2015 Toyota Yaris will go on sale later this month and pricing in the United States starts at $14,845.
