Motorcycle Sales in January 2015 : Royal Enfield Records a Growth of 43%

Royal Enfield has made a great start to the year 2015 with around 42% increase in sales in the month of January. When compared to the sales figures of January 2014 which stand at 19808 units, Royal Enfield sold 28157 units in January 2015.

As far as exports are concerned, there has been a steep rise in the number of exports when compared to January 2014. In January 2014, the Chennai based motorcycle maker exported 424 units, whereas in January 2015, it exported 770 units which is a growth of a whopping 82%.

In January last year, the company sold a total of 20232 units (including exports). Last month, the same figure shot to 28927 units, which is a growth of 43% when compared to the total sales last year. The overall sales figures have been satisfactory considering that Royal Enfield hasn’t launched a single new product after the Continental GT.
