Today, India gets two new motorcycle tyres namely SIRAC Street and Pilot Sporty from Michelin. The two new tyres were launched by Michelin in the Indian market with an intention of increasing its share in the two-wheeler tyre market. Michelin SIRAC was earlier available in 120/80×17”, 120/80×18” and 100/90×18” (front tubeless tyre). However, the new SIRAC Street range of tyres will be available n 2.75×18”, 3.00×18” and 100/90×18” sizes (tubed tyres).
The SIRAC Street range is not only small in dimensions but also lighter than its predecessors. This will help maintain lesser or as good as no impact on the performance of the vehicle. The SIRAC Street range of tyres will be available at a price range starting from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,805 according to the tyre size. The SIRAC Street range of tyres are multipurpose tyres which perform well on the streets as well as on off road terrain which makes it an ideal choice for tourers.
On the other hand, the Pilot Sporty tyres are designed for the city to provide maximum grip and an enhanced look on the tarmac. The Rs 1,940 tyres will be available in 100/90×18” size. The SIRAC Street will be soon available in Michelin Showrooms after which will arrive the Pilot Sporty.
