MG has geared up for another launch in the Indian market. This time, MG is focusing on the launch of their smallest EV car, named Comet. Recently, MG unveiled the interiors of the Comet. Now, MG has dropped a new teaser of the Comet showing the dual display setup.

What’s new in this teaser?
MG has just dropped another teaser of their upcoming EV, known as the Comet. The teaser reveals the floating type dual-screen display setup along with the Apple i-pod-inspired steering controls. The dual-screen setup comprises two screens each of 10.25 inches for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. The layout of the dual screen display setup will remind of the Mercedes cars as well as Mahindra Xuv700.

Features of dual-screen displays
The infotainment system on the left measures 10.25 inches. This system features customizable widgets which can be personalized by the user for their convenience. This feature makes the UI more convenient for the liking of the users. Furthermore, the infotainment system gets entertainment, navigation, and connectivity features like Apple Carplay, Android Auto, etc. Moreover, the new MG Comet will feature the voice command for enhancing the convenience of users without any distractions. All these features can also be controlled by the buttons mounted on the steering wheel.
About the Interior of MG Comet
Recently, MG revealed the interiors of their upcoming Comet EV. The new Comet features dual-tone black and white theme interiors. The dashboard gets a 2-spoke steering wheel, dual-screen display, slender AC vents, and rotary knob for manual AC. Moreover, MG Comet is expected to get modern features like an electric parking brake, hill assist, driving modes, keyless entry, and ignition.
The Powertrains and launch timeline
The new MG Comet EV is expected to be powered by a 17.3kWh battery pack. The axle-mounted electric motor of the new Comet EV will belt out approx. 40-50hp of power output. MG Comet is expected to have a claimed range of up to 250kms on a single charge. The EV will feature 2 driving modes: Normal and Sport along with a restricted top speed of 100km/h. The all-new MG Comet EV is all set to be launched on 19th April 2023.
