Suzuki S Cross Crash

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross crashes beyond repair prior to launch

Suzuki S-Cross Crash - 2

The new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is yet to reach the dealerships but one unfortunate vehicle is already heading towards the service centre after an ill-fated accident. This is the first recorded crash of the yet to be launched Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. While the whereabouts and the reason for the accident are still mysterious, this particular vehicle has suffered massive damage as it lay in the bushes. As we said before, we don’t know the exact details about the crash but it appears that the vehicle had toppled several times before landing into the bushes.

The vehicle in question seems to be a test-drive car, and the decimated exterior seems to be a consequence of someone who didn’t know how to drive any better than an ape. The entire body has suffered colossal damage throughout. The front fascia of the vehicle has been damaged beyond repair. The pillars have crumbled as a result of the brutal impact and the front passenger’s seat has popped out from what once used to be the left window. All the glasses have shattered, the swooping roofline has flattened and brought closer to mother earth thanks to the impact. The occupants of this ill-fated car must have suffered serious injury, though no specific details have emerged yet.

The crash appears to have occurred due to fast, negligent driving, as we don’t see any other vehicle involve. We would, however, wait for some more concrete information about the incident, and report as and when it emerges. Meanwhile, you can share your views or any insights about this accident through the comments section below.

  1. Tommy, Yes Maruti’s are flimsy in the build department, but the S-Cross is more European than Japanese as per the reviews I have read. We can’t comment that how strong or weak the car is. A high speed crash can completely destroy any car. Have a look at Princess Diana’s car (S-Class) which was doing speeds of about 140-160 when it crashed. Nothing is left of the car. Also, Fifth Gear on Discovery crash tested a Ford head on at 180 Kmph. Nothing, I mean nothing was left of the car, other than almost equivalent to flat sheet of metal.
