Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has launched the limited edition Linea Elegante in India. The Fiat Linea Elegante gets a fancy exterior accessory kit and some extras on the inside as well. Mechanically, this limited edition Linea remains unchanged to the regular version of this Fiat saloon.
Starting with the exterior, the Fiat Linea Elegante gets a new panoramic black roof, a sporty-looking body kit, restyled 16-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, chrome embellishment on the ORVMs, and fancy Elegante decals. Step inside the Linea Elegante, and you will spot the new 6.5-inch multifunctional touchscreen infotainment system. There’s also new seat covers, floor mats with ‘Elegante’ branding, and a flat door sill.
Speaking on the launch of the Fiat Linea Elegante, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “Linea Elegante is targeted towards those discerning buyers who desire elegant looks, differentiated offering and strong value proposition. This limited edition will undoubtedly create a wave of interest and will excite prospective Linea buyers. This package on new Linea is a perfect blend of elegance and sophistication. Under the bonnet, this limited edition Linea continues to be powered with a 1.3-litre four-cylinder Multijet diesel and the 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine. The latter makes 112bhp at 5000 rpm and 207 Nm of torque at 2200 rpm. The oil burner develops 92bhp of grunt at 4000 rpm and 209 Nm of twist at 2000 rpm. Both these engines come paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. With all of its accessories, the Fiat Linea Elegante wears a price tag of INR 9,99,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
