Lamborghini Celebrates 60 Year Anniversary in India

To commemorate Lamborghini’s extraordinary 60th Anniversary, Lamborghini India has unveiled a groundbreaking collaboration with The Plated Project. This partnership is a tribute to the seamless blend of artistic expression and Lamborghini’s groundbreaking automotive design. Named ‘Shadanga,’ this artistic venture showcases the convergence of automotive excellence and creative expression through a one-of-a-kind immersive art exhibit.

‘Shadanga’ represents an artistic endeavor in collaboration with The Plated Project, spotlighting the essence of Lamborghini through the six elements of Indian classical art. Six visionary artists, each devoted to a specific element of Lamborghini’s history, have translated the brand’s iconic design language into captivating artworks. These pieces have been skillfully adorned by traditional Indian artisans, resulting in a unique mural of six handcrafted canvases measuring 30 inches. Additionally, exclusive digitally printed collector’s edition replicas on 7.5-inch porcelain plates are part of this art showcase.

The components of ‘Shadanga’ are deeply rooted in Indian artistic heritage:

  • ‘Lavanya Yojana’ embodies the Miura and resonates with traditional symbols of beauty from Indian culture.
  • ‘Pramana’ reflects the Countach intertwined with an Indian architectural marvel.
  • ‘Sadrisya’ fuses the Diablo with a bull from Indian mythology.
  • ‘Rupabheda’ combines the Huracán STO with the V10 engine’s signature roar and the Indian Ragmala.
  • ‘Varnikabhanga’ unites Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program with the expressive art of Indian folk art, Kathakali.
  • ‘Bhava’ represents Revuelto’s futuristic design along with a reimagined Indian portrait.

Beyond art, this collaboration aligns with The Plated Project’s mission to combat hunger. For every art piece sold, 6,000 meals will be donated to those in need. It underscores Lamborghini’s dedication to social responsibility and the fusion of art for a greater purpose.

To mark Lamborghini’s 60th Anniversary, The Plated Project will craft a “Limited Edition” series of 100 sets, each replicating the art pieces as miniature porcelain collectible plates, transforming them into valuable mementos from this extraordinary project.
