It has emerged that Top Gear-host, Jeremy Clarkson, one of the most outspoken and entertaining auto-hacks from across the globe, could be thinking about running for UK’s Parliament. This revelation comes from a recent tweet by Clarkson himself. Unsurprisingly, the post by Clarkson has been retweeted over 4,400 times.

Jeremy Clarkson hasn’t yet confirmed if he wishes to jump into politics and some say that the tweet might just be an attempt to garner attention and amuse his fans.

However, if Jeremy really decides to stand for next election, he will  be running for seat from Doncaster North, which is located in southern Yorkshire. Currently, this area is represented by Ed Miliband from Labour Party.

It will be really interesting to see if Clarkson, with his habit to make a mockery out of the most serious issues, would be seen contesting an election. His followers would remember that he once called former Prime Minister Gordon Brown a “one-eyed Scottish idiot” and it is no secret that Jeremy often makes insulting remarks about other countries.
