Jaguar F Pace

Jaguar is Building a ‘Spectacular’ 18 Meter Tall Beacon for the F-Pace India Launch

That the Jaguar F-Pace will be launched in India on the 20th of October is no secret. What, however, we have come to know only recently is the British origin carmaker will be creating an 18 meter tall ‘Beacon’ to make the launch event all the more spectacular for the brand’s fans. The lofty beacon is being created, by renowned sculptor, Arzan Khambhatta. The first ever performance SUV bearing a leaping cat badge will be launched in Mumbai, with prices starting from INR 68.4 lakh.

The Beacon will be inspired by modern British architecture, and is described as “a monumental sculpture that radiates immense power by virtue of its sheer size” in Jaguar’s official statement. The beacon will also apparently communicate the key attributes like design, performance, yechnology and practicality of the new Jaguar F-Pace in some sense. At the base of the ‘Beacon’ will be a dramatically designed ramp, tapering critically to a point below as if it was the perfect launch pad for the all-new Jaguar F-PACE. The beacon will come alive with the projections and lights that will dance off its surface and will be clad in metallic finishes.

Ace Indian Music Composer and Singer, Shankar Mahadevan will also perform at the launch event of the much awaited car. India’s first ever F1 racer Narain Karthikeyan will also be present at the event, and will drive  the Jaguar F-PACE.

The message of ‘Set The Pace’ will be central to the launch event.
