The latest buzz in the town surrounds the future of Bajaj’s much successful 200cc motorcycle, the Pulsar 200NS. Certain reports suggested that the Pulsar 200NS will be discontinued in the coming months in order to expand the production of the newly introduced Pulsar AS200, a semi-faired motorcycle touted as the Adventure Sport version.
As shocking as the report may sound, Bajaj did confirm the halt in the production of the Pulsar 200NS but not to bump up the production of the Pulsar AS200. Bajaj responded on the buzz and said, “Thanks to the overwhelming response to the Pulsar RS200 there is a break in the Pulsar 200NS supply.”
The official announcement suggests that the hiatus in production in only temporary, thus indicating that the motorcycle will not be discontinued at least in the foreseeable future. Besides, with the launch of the new TVS Apache 200 around the corner, it would not be a great strategy on Bajaj’s part to pull out one of the highest selling products in its portfolio.
The motorcycle is still listed on Bajaj’s official website and we certainly hope that this halt in production is indeed temporary and Bajaj continues to retail the Pulsar 200NS. Bad move, Really. AS200 looks awkward and can’t stand closer to 200NS in terms of everything. Adventure sport huh?, This one sure is going to be a big flop. Why won’t you listen to customers?. A naked model is a must, or people will start to move off for other choices.
i love pulsar 200ns and got a chance to buy it…..but for now its production has stopped………plz inform about its production in trivandrum.

Please change a name of (rs200). pulsar is to old name for this segement.I am rs200 owner name pulsar is to much odd on bike.sir please use good material don’t play with people lifes..y u use a ns200 engine use in rs200 or as200 please create a new power engine like ktm
