Hyundai Creta N Line Gets Teased For South American Market

Hyundai’s N division has gained quite a lot of popularity these days thanks to fun cars the brand has been dishing out. Cars like the Elantra N and i20 N have been praised by enthusiasts globally. For those on a budget, Hyundai introduced its N Line range of cars as well which come with cosmetic changes and minor mechanical changes. The i20 N Line is already on sale in India and it will soon be joined by the Venue N Line. Now, Hyundai has teased the Creta N Line for the South American markets.

What To Expect

As we’ve seen in other Hyundai N Line cars, the changes will majorly be cosmetic. The exterior will be spruced up with a chequered flag-inspired grille and N Line badges all around. The alloy wheels will get a more sporty design and one can expect the addition of a spoiler as well. The interiors will get red accents all around and red contrast stitching on the seats. The powertrain options will remain the same with the South American spec Creta being offered with a 2-liter NA petrol engine. We’re not sure if Hyundai will bring the Creta N Line to India.

Hyundai Creta: Recent updates

Hyundai is known to regularly update its models every now and then depending on the various market conditions. When launched, the Hyundai Creta was offered with TPMS as standard, however, it was deleted somewhere down the line. Now, Hyundai has reintroduced TPMS as standard in the Creta range and also added a piano black element in the rear taillight section according to our dealer sources. This has resulted in a price hike of ₹5000 for the base E variant. The Creta range now starts at ₹10.28 lakh ex-showroom for the petrol variant and ₹10.75 lakh ex-showroom for the diesel variant.

Hyundai also recently launched the Creta Knight edition at ₹ 13 51 200 (ex-showroom). The black-themed variant of the popular SUV will be offered on a new S+ trim in manual transmission. It will also be available in the feature-packed, top of the line SX (O) trim with IVT and AT transmissions. No manual transmission option will be available for the Creta Knight Edition for this top variant though. The Creta Knight Edition will be available only with the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated MPi petrol and 1.5U2 CRDi diesel engine options.

The 1.4-liter turbo engine won’t be available with the Creta Knight Edition. The new CRETA Knight Edition witnesses a whole bunch of aesthetic improvements to stand apart from the rest of the variants in the Creta lineup. Draped in black exterior paint, the Creta Knight Edition gets the following exterior styling features.
