At an event today, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) honored Ms. Saina Nehwal by handing-over the 1st Anniversary Edition of the Creta to the Badminton Icon of India for celebrating her win in Australian Open Championship. Saina Nehwal (26) is amongst the most decorated athletes in the country having won Arjuna Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Padam Shri and Padam Bhushan in 2016 besides winning an Olympic Bronze at the 2012 London Olympiad for India.

The 1st Anniversary Edition of Creta features special, commemorative badges and body decals on either side of the vehicle. The body decals include red and blue coloured stripes above the side sills and on the C- pillars, with the latter hosting the 1st Anniversary Edition sticker. All the pillars and the roof benefit from a gloss black finish as well. The Creta Anniversary Edition rides on 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

Inside, the special edition model comes with all-black interiors, black seat upholstery with red mid-sections, illuminated door sills, new seat covers and floor mats with the special edition lettering. One of the most interesting features that makes it to the Creta Anniversary Edition would be a car refrigerator. Official prices of this special edition Creta will be announced on August 1st.
