The Amaze face-lift gets a different front grille with a thicker chrome slat running across, and a completely redesigned, chunkier front bumper with large mesh inserts. At the back, the face-lift adds different graphics for the tail lamps. A new exterior colour, Bluish Titanium Metallic has also been introduced, which joins the existing options that include Alabaster Silver Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Orchid White Pearl, and Taffeta White.

Inside, the Amaze face-lift receives an all-new dashboard, which is derived from the upcoming BR-V crossover and the Indonesian-spec Mobilio. With a rakish design, piano black inserts and rectangular HVAC vents, the new dashboard not only looks more contemporary than the earlier one, it also sports a new instrument cluster with MID. Additional features include automatic climate control, and a new 2-DIN Bluetooth-enabled music system. Higher variants will get a touch-screen equipped infotainment system.

The Honda Amaze face-lift comes with no mechanical changes, which means that it will continue to employ the 1.2-litre, i-VTEC petrol engine rated at 87 bhp/109 Nm and the 1.5-litre, i-DTEC diesel engine which is good for 99 bhp/200 Nm – both mated to a standard five-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels, with the petrol variant getting an optional CVT. The VX variant also gets the Honda Connect feature, while air-bags and ABS have been made standard across the range.
