Homologation for Buddh International Circuit

Buddh International Circuit Homologated

India has finally taken one more step closer towards international motorsports with the Homologation of the Buddh International Circuit. Located in Greater Noida, this race track will be the location for the first ever Indian GP scheduled to be held in October 2011. The track was reviewed by the race director Mr. Charlie Whiting who cleared the homologation earlier today. The safety of the track too was reviewed by the safety delegate to ensure safety for racers and spectators. Now that the track has got the green signal after passing the ‘very-strict’ FIA guidelines, this day marks a milestone in the Indian Motorsports History.
