Ford India launched the Sports Editions of the Figo hatchback and the Aspire compact sedan, with prices starting at INR 6.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Figo Sports Edition will be available across dealerships at INR 721,600 for the 1.5-litre Diesel Titanium variant and INR 631,900 for the 1.2 Petrol Titanium variant. The Ford Aspire Sports Edition is priced at INR 760,600 for the 1.5 Diesel Titanium variant and INR 650,900 for the 1.2 Petrol Titanium variant.
Visual updates to the Ford Figo and Aspire Sports Editions come in the form of a sporty grille, black insert for the headlamp bezel and graphics on the sides and rear. An all-new black honeycomb grille across the Figo Sports Edition enhances the signature trapezoidal grille. The Aspire Sports Edition also dons a new grille with smart black painted bars. According to Ford, the dual-tone exterior with a contrasting black painted roof, all-new black alloys and outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) enhance the hatchback’s sportier stance.
The Ford Figo And Aspire Sports Editions feature a re-tuned suspension and 15-inch alloy wheels. The Figo Sports Edition also receives a rear spoiler to improve aerodynamics for a more refined performance. The Figo and Aspire Sports Edition will be equipped with front driver and passenger airbags, along with ABS and EBD as standard.

Inside, the Sports Edition of the Figo and Aspire come with all-black interiors, from inner door handles to the centre console. The Ford Figo Sports Edition seats will feature red stitching while Aspire Sports Edition’s cabin will feature fog grey stitching. The steering is leather wrapped and uses contrasting coloured seams.
Also on offer on the Sports Editions variants of the Figo and Aspire is the MyFord Dock. The feature offers drivers a solution for storing, mounting and charging mobile phones, MP3 player, and satellite navigation systems, and for integrating these devices into the car’s entertainment system. When not in use, the dock can be closed out of sight.
Powering the Ford Figo and Aspire Sports Editions are two powertrain options: a 1.2-litre TiVCT petrol engine generating a peak power of 88 PS and a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine that generates a power output of 100 PS. These engines will be paired to a five-speed manual transmission.
The Ford Figo Sports Editions will be available in five colour options that include Ruby Red, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black and Ingot Silver. The Aspire Sports Edition, in addition to the aforementioned five colour options, will be available in Deep Impact Blue and Smoke Grey. The Figo and Aspire Sports Edition will be produced at the company’s production facility in Sanand, Gujarat.
