Renault India released its sales report for the month of December. The Company registered a growth of 160% with the monthly domestic sales of 10,292 units in December 2015 against 3,956 units in the corresponding month last year.
In the year 2015, Renault sold 53,847 units as compared to 44,849 units in the previous year, registering a cumulative growth of 20.1%. With substantial efforts and developments on product, network and customer engagement, Renault has entered a new phase of growth in India, and is gearing up towards making its products and services more accessible to customers across the country.
Renault has substantially increased its sales and service network reach from 14 sales and service facilities in mid-2011 to a current strength of 200 facilities, and will reach a count of 240 by end of next year. This includes expanding its presence in existing and new markets in urban, semi-urban and rural India.
The current portfolio of the company in India includes the Kwid, the Pulse, the Scala, the Lodgy, the Duster, the Fluence and the Koleos which starts at Rs. 2.59 lakhs all the way to Rs.23.47 lakhs (all prices, Ex-Showroom Delhi).
