The BMW 3-Series facelift has been spied in India, wearing disguise on a flat-bed truck, somewhere in Pune. As with BMW mid-cycle refreshes, exterior changes on the 3-Series LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) are of a blink-and-you-miss-it kind.
The changes include a revised front bumper that houses redesigned air intakes at the bottom, full LED treatment for the headlights and tail-lights, and a revised rear bumper. This pretty much encapsulates the changes to the exterior of the BMW 3-Series facelift.
Along with the facelift, the 3-Series now benefits from tweaks to the steering, chassis and upgraded power-trains. The nomenclature has also been re-jigged with respect to the uprated power. The 328i now becomes the 330i, while the 335i becomes the 340i. The interiors get high-gloss black center console, new ambient lighting, and new chrome accents. However, for India, the 2.0-litre diesel engine continues unchanged.
