On World Environment Day, one of the taxi-hailing services, BluSmart has achieved a big milestone of 2 million kilometres. The brand has achieved this milestone with 6 million zero-emission trips across the country.

Role of BluSmart in reducing emissions

BluSmart EVs have made a remarkable commitment to reducing carbon emissions. This results in a significant saving of over 14,600 tonnes of CO2 emission. This achievement is equivalent to the positive impact of more than 630,000 fully grown trees absorbing CO2 in one year. With a fleet of over 4,000 electric vehicles, BluSmart has played a pivotal role in reducing on-road pollution.

The exponential growth witnessed by BluSmart EVs in clean kilometres over the past four years. This includes a remarkable 3.6-fold increase in the last year alone (from June 2022 to June 2023). It serves as a testament to BluSmart’s dedicated fight against climate change.
