The Volkswagen Polo was awarded the World Car of the Year award 2010 as reported before (click here to read more). The similar title with a concentrated dose of performance was awarded to the Audi R8 V10. This is not the first time that an Audi R8 has bagged this award. In the year 2008, the V8 engined version of the Audi R8 was awarded the title.
The Audi R8 V10 is jam packed with performance with its 5.2-litre direct-injection V10 engine that churns out 525 mighty horses at 8000 RPM. The engine produces a maximum torque of 530 Nm at 6500 RPM. The car boasts of an amazing acceleration of 3.9 seconds from stand-still to 100 kmph and a whopping top speed of about 314 kmph. Being a true performance enthusiast’s delight, the car truly deserved the performance title.
