Ashok Leyland Launches Luxura Magical India Bus

Popular Indian CV maker Ashok Leyland Ltd and Toofles Foundation today launched the new Ashok Leyland Luxura Magical India Bus, which is a unique concept being introduced for the first time in India.

This insides of this new luxury bus take inspiration from the interiors of a private jet. The bus will made available on contract basis and will help the customers in contributing to a good cause by directing at least 50% of the charter fees to the charity partners of the project.

The Ashok Leyland Luxura Magical India Bus is built on Ashok Leyland’s Luxura platform and is designed by the renowned Indian auto designer Dilip Chhabria.

The bus has been designed for only nine passengers and has luxurious reclining seats, a wi-fi enabled personal entertainment system, an on-board spa with trained therapists, a galley to serve hot & cold snacks & beverages and a washroom.

Guests can charter the bus for a day or for an overnight trip to Agra, Jaipur, Neemrana or any of the numerous travel destinations in and around Delhi.

Mann Travels, with a fleet of over 250 cars in Delhi, are the operating partners of this project. The purpose of this project is to contribute to the good work being done by the two charity partners of the project:

Goonj : The first organisation to highlight clothing as a basic but un-addressed need in our country.  Today, Goonj channelizes over 1000 tonnes of clothing material every year to 21 states and is force of 150 full time people and hundreds of volunteers.

The Cancer Institute: A symbol of man’s eternal quest to conquer disease and an inspiration that reaches out to humanity, the Institute houses 423 beds of which 297 are free. The hospital attends to over 1,25,000 patients annually and has state- of- the- art facilities for diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of cancer as well as rehabilitation.
