The rear wheel drive Lamborghini Huracán LP 580-2 India launch happened today at New Delhi in the presence of Pavan Setty, Head, Lamborghini India. Priced at INR 2.99 crore (Ex-showroom Delhi), Lamborghini Huracán LP 580-2 has been trimmed down on horsepower compared to the regular Huracan LP 610,but at 1,389 kgs (dry) is 33 kgs lighter than the all wheel drive model. And with all those 580 horses transmitted to the rear wheel, we don’t think it would be out of place to call the new Huracán LP 580-2 an exotic fit for a skid pad.

Changes to the Lamborghini Huracán LP 580-2 include:

• New dynamic design for front and rear
• Weight reduction with recalibrated power management for highly-involving driver experience
• Weight distribution is biased 40% at the front and 60% at the rear, reducing inertia on the front axle.
• A new power management set-up, encompassing modified suspension, new steering set-up with recalibrated stability and traction controls
• The STRADA, SPORT and CORSA drive modes are tuned for rear-wheel drive behavior.
• New set of different-sized (front/rear) 19” Kari rims.
• Pirelli PZero tyres exclusively developed for the rear-wheel drive.
• Contoured Steel brakes with aluminum brake disc calipers for weight reduction and improved cooling.
