A domestic sales figure of 15,034 units has been executed by Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) in the month of September 2016. Along with this, the company managed to export 405 units. Looking at the model wise sales break-up, it can be inferred that the Honda City is making the most numbers out of the seven car models, the company offers in India following which is the Amaze compact sedan. The last spot in the list is taken by the CR-V, of which, only 47 units manage to roll out of the showrooms.
Speaking of the company’s performance, Mr. Yoichiro Ueno, President and CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd. commented that Honda’s sales have been steadily growing during the past few months. Their enquiry levels have seen a significant increase since the beginning of this festival season and they are looking forward to continuing good sales momentum through Oct’16. He further added that Honda is offering a lot of exciting promotions on cars to make this festive season more attractive and rewarding for customers. ”
