The ultra-luxurious Honda Goldwing recently completed 40 years since its introduction in 1975 and to celebrate the occasion, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer launched a limited edition 40th Anniversary model. And you might sight a couple of these limited edition Goldwing motorcycles on Indian roads as two models have arrived in the vibrant city of Pune.
All 2015 models of the Honda Goldwing would sport 40th Anniversary emblems. But the upgrades are limited to cosmetic enhancements only while mechanically the motorcycle remains the same. So at the heart of the Honda Goldwing 40th Anniversary Limited Edition is the same 1832cc liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine that is found on the standard model. This 1832cc power plant churns out 120 PS of peak power at 5500 rpm and 167 Nm of max torque at 4000 rpm.
The 40th Anniversary Edition Honda Gold Wing Audio Comfort will be available in Dual Tone Candy Prominence Red at a price of Rs.28.50 lacs while the Gold Wing Airbag in Pearl Glare White will set you back by Rs.31.50 lacs (both ex-showroom-New Delhi).
