There are times when a car doesn’t feel like a product and more like a memory that is brought back to life. That is exactly what Jeep has done by bringing back the Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition for the 2026 model year in India.
This special version returns after the earlier batch sold out across the country in just seven days, and this time Jeep has made it slightly more accessible. Priced at Rs 70.31 lakh ex showroom, it is around Rs 3 lakh lower than before. Only 41 units are available nationwide, making it one of the rarest Wranglers you can buy here.

The Willys 41 is based on the fully loaded Rubicon trim and is offered at a premium of Rs 2 lakh over the standard version. What makes it stand apart is the strong connection to Jeep’s military past. The special 41 Green paint is inspired by the original Willys MB from 1941. You also get a 1941 decal on the bonnet along with “One of 41” collector badging, clearly marking it out as a limited edition. Other colour choices include white, red, black and blue.

Jeep has also added useful equipment as standard, focused on real world use.
Key highlights include
- Motorised side steps
- New interior grab handles
- All weather floor mats
- Integrated front and rear dash camera
There is also an optional adventure kit priced at Rs 3.6 lakh. It includes a roof carrier with an integrated ladder along with a Sunrider soft top. This optional package is now offered at a more attractive price than before, which makes it easier for buyers who want the full outdoor experience.

Under the hood, nothing has changed and that is a good thing. The SUV continues with the 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine producing 272hp and 400Nm of torque. Power is sent through an 8 speed automatic gearbox with proper 4×4 hardware as standard.
This special edition will be available for a limited period through Jeep India dealerships and is aimed at buyers who value heritage as much as capability.
In simple terms, this Wrangler is not about numbers or features alone. It is about owning a small but meaningful piece of Jeep history that still feels ready for real adventures today.
