Whoa! That was our first reaction when we heard the news, or rumor, whatever you may want to call it! But seems like this bit of information is coming from some reliable quarters, and the internet is abuzz with news flowing in every second on the pricing. If you just pinched yourself, just like we did, let us repeat, the new bike is said to be priced at Rs 4.5 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. And with the Ninja 650 at that price, there is only one place the Hyosing GT650R can be expected to go – out of business!
The Ninja 650R is internationally acclaimed to be an all rounder. Its extremely friendly riding position, butter smooth engine, great ground clearance and usable performance has made it a very popular among riders graduating from 250cc machines to a higher level. Plus there is the Kawasaki brand name behind this one , which would definitely give it more credibility and desirability than a Hyosung. If the news is true, we can bet our heads on thousands on enthusiasts heading straight to the banks to break their FDs or start a new savings fund to buy this one right away, including yours truly.
Guess its still a tad early, but if Kwasaki manages to price it at the prices quoted above, we won’t mind taking our hats off for a moment. Have a look at the tech specs of the Ninja 650R below and let us know your views on what you think about the pricing based on what you’re getting for the money
