We tried our bit to dish out the most comprehensive launch coverage of the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 for you yesterday. After having put together the images, specs, brochures, design commentary and features list of the new car, we managed to lay our hands on a completely fresh set of images. Since these images covered most parts of the car, we decided to compile them and walk you through the details of the new car via still visuals.
So here we have a whole bunch of New Alto 800 images, enabling you to have a look at every aspect of the car. We have put captions too wherever we thought some description would be of use. Hope it’s of use to you good folks. Enjoy the images (click to enlarge)
Apollo Amazer XL 12 inch tubeless radials are the footwear for the new Alto
 Tow hook under the bumper
The Hexagonal lower grille of the Alto, along with the chrome bonnet lip and its headlamps have attracted criticism from all quarters for being uncannily similar to that of the Figo’s
The exhaust pipe for the Alto 800 has always been one of the smallest units.
Body coloured handles for the top end LXi variant
Remote fuel lid and boot opener levers – available only in higher variants
Power window switches are located between the front seats, behind the gear shifter level. There could have been a cup holder there if those switches were in door panels
Speakers in the front door panel. Sound quality just about manages to be average
Silver finish bezels around AC vents is a nice touch. Lifts the quality perception of cabin significantly
New design for the central AC vents
Instrument panel is still very basic. New dial and fonts for the speedo look much better than before
No tilt adjustment for the steering column
Those door hinges may look flimsy, but they have proven time and again that they can really last an age.
Silver finish door handles, nee interior color scheme and new upholstery fabric. The New Alto indeed looks like a new car from within the cabin
Petal inspired head and tail lamps are new, but aren’t particularly eye-catching
Two-tone color scheme for seat fabric
Front seats now have integrated headrests a-la Hyundai i10. Looks nice. Back bench has decent space for the car’s size
Boot space is a revelation for such a small car. It’s more than that of the Swift
Open storage space above the glove box in a new inclusion and very useful, since there is no place above the dashboard to put stuff like like wallet and mobile phone.
 Rain-sensing wipers ———— NOT!
That puny little engine is legendary when it comes to fuel efficiency. Has enough pep to make the Alto 800 a really zippy and enjoyable drive through the city.
Full wheel covers come standard only on the LXi model
I AM PURCHASE A VEHICLE BUT FRONT SPEKER FIXING GRILL NOT IN THE VEHICLE,
Agre with Vikram completely…the pics just speak so much. Awesome Job!
