Suzuki recently showcased its new 2017 range of Gixxer motorcycles at the Suzuki Gixxer Day held at the Central Avenue in Mumbai. For 2017, the Gixxer range receives new graphics, a BS-IV compliant engine and Auto Headlight ON (AHO) feature to comply with the new norms. Visitors of the Suzuki Gixxer Day also witnessed two-time European stunt champion Aras Gibieza in action. The two-wheeler maker recently launched the BS-IV compliant Hayate EP and Let’s.
The new norms have not affected the performance and the motorcycles continue to draw 14.2 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm from its 155cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The engine comes mated to a five-speed transmission.

The new 2017 Gixxer variants are available in 3 colours – Pearl Mira Red and Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black, and Glass Sparkle Black. The three colour variants of the new Suzuki Gixxer SF 2017 model include Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Mat Black, and Pearl Mira Red. Further, the 2017 Gixxer SF Fi variant is available in Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black with Metallic Mat Black colours.
With the updates, the new Gixxer 155 roadster has been priced at INR 86,421 while the fully faired Gixxer SF has been priced at INR 96,082. The fuel injected version of the Suzuki Gixxer SF, christened as the Gixxer SF FI has been priced at INR 100,145.
