Mahindra Scorpio facelift images has surfaced on the cyber space.
While many believed that the refreshed Scorpio would greet us at the recently conducted Auto Expo 2014, the Scorpio facelift was conspicious by its absence at the motor show. However, if these regular sightings are anything to go by, the carmaker surely is working overtime with the development of the upcoming model.
The upcoming Scorpio facelift would sport a highly revised front end, which will try and bestow the ageing model with some much needed freshness. The headlights of the refreshed model will sport LED Daytime Running Lamps, while the front fascia would also consist of a new bumper, grille and fog lamps. Also, the car will also get a highly revised hood and front fenders.

On the inside, the upcoming facelift will sport a highly revised dashboard, updated upholstery and XUV500’s steering wheel.
At the rear end, the car would sport new taillights, a new bumper and a mildly revised tailgate.
As previously reported by us, it is highly unlikely that the 2014 Mahindra Scorpio facelift would boast of any significant mechanical updates. This means that the popular SUV would continue to be propelled by the same 2.2 liter four cylinder turbocharged mHawk diesel engine that powers the current model. This engine has a max power of 120 bhp and the peak torque is rated at 290 Nm. The motor can be had with either a 5 speed manual transmission or a 6 speed automatic gearbox on some trim levels.
